Vermont Zoning Atlas work underway in Chittenden County; PAC members invited to do QA/QC

Taylor Newton updated the PAC on the Vermont Zoning Atlas effort, saying a June 7 training hosted by the University of Vermont Complex Systems and Middlebury College prepared volunteers to read municipal bylaws. Newton said work has begun for Chittenden County municipalities and is expected to be wrapping up by the end of June.
Several PAC members indicated interest in conducting quality control of the atlas data before publication. Newton said he will connect municipal staff with the Zoning Atlas Project Director, Yoshi Bird, to support late‑June QA/QC efforts.
