Valerie said the amendment is intended to maintain the dataset and dashboard while staff implements internal processes such as integrating CityWorks and GIS: "we're asking LJA to keep our information up to date until we can get that completed." The $51,750 figure was presented as Amendment No. 1 for ongoing updates and not‑to‑exceed work while internal procedures are set.
Board members asked about the timeline for taking the dashboard maintenance in‑house; staff said there is not yet a firm date and described the work as an ongoing contract until CityWorks/GIS coordination is complete. The board approved the amendment by voice vote and staff said the amendment would be brought to council as required for contractual changes.
