CCRPC committee advances officer slate; one large‑town seat remains open

The CCRPC Joint Executive and Finance Committee reviewed Board Development Committee recommendations May 3 and supported a proposed officer slate for the Board. Mike O’Brien reported that the committee met April 24 and will recommend the following changes: Chris Shaw to move from Vice Chair to Chair; Bard Hill to move from Treasurer to Vice Chair; Jacki Murphy to serve as Treasurer; Mike Bissonette to serve as the small‑town representative; and Catherine McMains to move to Immediate Past Chair.
The committee said one slot remains for the large‑town representative; candidates discussed included representatives from Essex City, Williston or Burlington. Mike O’Brien said he will reach out to potential candidates and asked Charlie Baker to receive the final decision by Wednesday so it can be placed on the May Board agenda. Members reiterated that policy historically favors filling officer slots with current Board representatives rather than alternates.
