Northern Cambria SD board approves band-room use, hires and athletics appointments

The board also approved adding Alexandria Scott to the 2025–26 bus driver list and added Ashley Goss to the cafeteria substitute list for 2025–26 after clearances were submitted. Chair (Speaker 1) called for voice votes on both motions; each passed.
On athletics, the board approved volunteer track and field coach Brianna Wise and confirmed a proposed lineman football camp for grades 9–12 to be held May 30, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hugh Duffy Doherty Football Stadium; the cost will be $50 per athlete. Board member (Speaker 2) corrected an attachment error noting May 30 is the correct date.
The board appointed Mike Hogan as head girls volleyball coach for the 2026–27 school year at a first-year coach’s salary of $5,700 and approved assistant girls volleyball coaches Kim McCracken (one-year contract, $3,715), Jennifer Dunn (one-year contract, $3,715) and Cadence Delabella (one-year contract, $3,400). A board member asked about salary differences among assistants; staff explained pay is based on prior tenure and step in the bargaining unit.
