Pasadena ISD board approves amendment to superintendent’s contract in special session

The Pasadena Independent School District Board of Trustees approved an amendment to the superintendent’s contract in a voice vote during a special meeting on Sept. 19, 2024.

Chair Casey Phelan called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. in the administration building at 3920 Mickey Gilley Boulevard and confirmed a quorum of board members was present. The board adjourned into closed session under the Texas Government Code (Chapter 551, §§551.071, .072, .074) and later reconvened in open session at 6:02 p.m.

When the board returned to open session, agenda item "Consideration: possible approval of the amendment to superintendent's contract and related action" was raised. Marshall Kendrick moved approval and Vicky Morgan seconded.
