The Brentwood Board of Zoning Appeals elected Todd Lockhart to continue as chair and named David Carden vice chair during its April 20, 2026 meeting. The nominations were made from the floor, seconded and approved by unanimous voice votes.
The board convened with three members present, which the presiding officer noted at the start of the meeting. A motion to nominate Todd Lockhart "to continue as chair" was offered, seconded and carried after members said "aye." The board then nominated David Carden for vice chair; that motion was also seconded and approved by voice vote.
Minutes from the board's Feb. 17, 2026 meeting were presented for approval. With no requested changes, a motion to approve the minutes was seconded and carried by voice vote.
The elections and minutes approval were procedural items handled at the outset of the agenda; the board proceeded to consider substantive zoning matters later in the meeting.
The board is scheduled to meet again May 18, 2026, when a deferred variance request is expected to return to the agenda.
