The superintendent said the assistant director (previously serving as the LEA) would be redeployed to classroom oversight and that the district may need another staff member depending on the final recommendations. The board scheduled a full special education presentation for June to review consultant findings and proposed staffing changes.
No formal action was taken at the meeting; staff said they will return with a presentation and more detailed recommendations.
