Cannabis retail registrations (res. 25-09-65): The council approved preliminary registration results for Red Iris LLC and Skoll Minnesota LLC, contingent on the businesses completing required steps and meeting state statutes and city ordinances; Skoll Minnesota LLC must obtain a retail endorsement tied to its microbusiness license.
Start internal hiring process for police investigator: The council authorized staff to begin an internal hiring process for a police investigator (moved by Tim Riopelle; second by Karen Peterson); the motion passed by roll call.
Grant application (res. 25-09-68): The council authorized submission of a state grant (referred to in the meeting as the "Mighty Ducks" grant) to fund R-22 replacement for arena refrigeration and authorized the city administrator to execute agreements if the city is awarded funding (moved by Tammy Schumacher; second by Tim Riopelle).
