Waite Park council approves consent agenda, authorizes hiring process and pays bills

The council approved a job description for a part‑time public works assistant (up to 28 hours per week, pay grade 2) and separately authorized the hiring process to begin. Council also moved and approved payment of the bills at the meeting.
Mayor read a thank‑you letter from Junior Achievement for a $5,000 donation from gambling funds. Staff reported City Hall and police have temporarily relocated to the Public Works facility (address given during the meeting) and reminded the council of a fire study meeting and the State of the City events on May 21.
