The Kennesaw Sister Cities Commission on April 14 unanimously approved the minutes of its Oct. 7, 2025 meeting and delayed officer elections until the next meeting.
Commissioner Elizabeth Jamison moved to approve the Oct. 7, 2025 minutes; Commission Chair Leslie Patton seconded and the motion passed unanimously, 3‑0. Chair Patton recommended postponing the election of 2026 officers — chair, vice chair and secretary — until the next meeting; there were no objections from the members present.
The meeting opened at 6:01 p.m. and members present were Chair Leslie Patton, Commissioner Elizabeth Jamison and Commissioner Michael Ota; Sheb True and Angelo Brown were recorded as absent. Staff liaison Anna Trapp was present. The commission welcomed Michael Ota as its newest member. The meeting adjourned at 6:55 p.m.
