Robbie, the public-works and building-maintenance staff member, presented two procurement requests for the new public-safety facility and recommended approval.
The first request is for the purchase and installation of AV equipment, including televisions and videoconferencing gear, from Switch Global (on Georgia state contract) for $244,791. The second request covers furniture needs under state contract with Hahn Furniture for $266,757.62. "I recommend approval," Robbie said of each item.
The mayor moved both items to the consent agenda and the council agreed to place them on consent; no separate roll-call votes were recorded during the work session.
What happens next: The procurements will be scheduled on the council's consent agenda for formal approval at the appropriate meeting.
