New Prague council clarifies annexation applicant, hears facilities and funding updates; approves routine items

Josh also updated the council on facilities planning: staff are collecting rough quotes for potential HVAC, tuckpointing, window and roof repairs and expect to bring more detailed cost information for discussion in the first or second quarter. He said a formal application to the state for SCDP funds has been submitted to support improvements at the city center and pond; the transcript identifies the funding program by its acronym (SCDP) but does not give the program's full name.
Councilmembers asked that any feasibility discussion about significant investment in the current city building include an explicit reaffirmation that the site is intended as the city’s long-term facility before major renovation or demolition is advanced.
The mayor moved to adjourn the meeting; the motion passed unanimously.
