Bozeman approves splash pad fence, consent agenda items

The Bozeman City Commission approved consent items H1–H6 on Feb. 3, including a change order to install a fence around the city’s first splash pad at Story Mill Park and to relocate the ultraviolet water treatment system to comply with changes in state law.
City staff said the fence is intended to keep dogs out of the splash pad area and that the UV system location required adjustment to meet regulatory requirements. The city manager said the mayor will cut the ribbon this spring.
The consent agenda was moved by Commissioner Bode and approved unanimously by the commissioners present.
