At a hearing for 8155 Georgia Avenue, Gloria Booze said a building permit was pulled last year, that contractors were working and she requested to the end of the month to complete repairs. Code staff acknowledged past complaints at the property and council agreed to keep the matter under the code office’s close supervision.
Matt Marsudian appeared to provide a 30‑day update on work at properties on 22nd and 23rd avenues, saying family illness and caregiving duties had limited progress. Marsudian asked for two additional weeks; councilmembers agreed to the short extension and asked him to stay in close contact with Travis Johnson of code enforcement and to return at the next meeting for an update.
