Mayor proclaims Admiral Football State Championship Day, honors Gulfport High team

Coach Matt introduced individual players and coaches while the council and audience offered applause and congratulations.
Mayor Keating said the championship marks the first coast team title in that classification and the first Gulfport state championship in the modern playoff era; she urged citizens to join in recognizing the team and encouraged upcoming community events and holiday activities.
