Gordon, who the mayor introduced by name, said he grew up in Kettering, lives in Bellbrook with his wife and two sons and has 11 years of experience in the fire service, including prior work in Jefferson Township, Vandalia and Washington Township Fire.
The Parks and Recreation Director said an Arbor Day celebration will be held at Wax Park on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon and encouraged attendance. The meeting included routine department reports and closed with no public comments. The council adjourned at 6:18 p.m.
