The Clayton City Council adopted Resolution 52‑2023 authorizing installation of all‑way stop signs at the intersection of N. El Camino Drive and Southbrook Drive and approved the City Engineer's signing and striping plan at its Oct. 17 meeting.
City Engineer Larry Theis gave the staff report outlining the traffic study and recommended installation. After council questions there were no public comments. Councilmember Cloven moved and Councilmember Tillman seconded adoption of the resolution. The motion passed unanimously, 5‑0.
The resolution directs staff to implement the signage and striping plan prepared by the City Engineer. The council did not attach amendments to the plan during the meeting.
Residents who had earlier raised other local traffic safety concerns were invited to continue coordination with staff and the engineer on nearby crosswalk and safety review requests.
