The Chittenden County Planning Advisory Committee convened July 9 and approved the May 14, 2025 meeting minutes after a motion by Aaron DeNamur, seconded by Paul Conner; the motion passed unanimously. Darren Schibler reviewed the PAC’s FY26 schedule and noted that Milton, St. George and Hinesburg town plans will be formally reviewed this fiscal year.
Staff said the planned housing data presentation was deferred to a later meeting to allow John Adams (Vermont Center for Geographic Information) to attend. Other business included a Lake Champlain Sea Grant boat trip for municipal officials on July 15 (UVM research vessel Marcelle Melosira) that is already at capacity, and a request that members email Taylor Newton and Maya Balassa with information about regional Act 250 and Section 248 projects on the horizon.
Chris Shaw moved to adjourn; Aaron DeNamur seconded and the meeting adjourned at 3:57 p.m. The meeting minutes were prepared by Maya Balassa.
