Miles Hicks, deputy legislative officer to Gov. "The core intent... is incorporating a prohibition on dynamic pricing and personal data when shopping for groceries," Hicks said.
Hicks said SB 387 and the House cross-file contain differing definitions of "dynamic pricing" and "third-party providers," and that sponsors and stakeholders are actively working to reconcile those differences. He added the administration has engaged grocers, lobbyists, and advocates and that amendments in both chambers reflect input from proponents and opponents.
