Henderson County Commissioners Court approved annual contracts with Joy Bridal Septic and Sanitation LLC to perform quarterly inspections and testing of aerobic wastewater treatment systems at county facilities.
A commissioner explained the county has experienced prior service-call charges when problems arose and said contracting for routine inspections avoids those fees. “It's $217 a year, and I think they come out 4 times, each quarter and do an inspection on it and test the pH,” the commissioner said, describing the scope as quarterly visits to check system function.
The motion to enter the contracts for the LaRue Complex and the Precinct 4 Road & Bridge buildings passed unanimously after a motion and second. The contracts authorize necessary signatures to finalize procurement.
County officials did not provide the total number of buildings covered beyond the LaRue Complex and the Precinct 4 Road & Bridge facility at the time of the public meeting.
