"These are part of the public record,” Parro said. “If you cannot hear the commissioners speak because they're not speaking into the microphone, you are not acting, you're not respecting the meeting."
The chair acknowledged the comment but did not commit to a specific corrective action during the session. Shortly after public comment, the chair paused the meeting for a five-minute recess because the camera was not working.
Parro's remarks highlight ongoing accessibility concerns for remote viewers and for anyone referencing archived meetings. The court did not take a formal vote or set a timetable for technical upgrades during the portion of the meeting on the record.
