Montgomery County commission approves multi-item consent agenda including grants and a $1.5 billion bond loan

The Montgomery County Board of County Commissioners approved a multi-item consent agenda on March 9, passing the package by a vote of 17 yes, 1 no.

The agenda items read into the record by the presiding official included a series of resolutions to amend the FY26 budget, accept grant funds and appropriate monies (including a Tennessee Department of Transportation litter and trash collection grant), accept a state volunteer firefighter equipment and training grant (33501-262521), accept donated funds and an endowment grant for ambulance equipment, authorize execution of an agreement with the Clarksville Rotary Foundation and Montgomery County for a greenway grant, and a budget amendment to replenish salt and rock after extreme weather.
