Designers named in the packet — Morgan Reap and Claire O’Connor — were acknowledged as the people who helped develop the design.
Commissioners praised the layout and legibility, noting the sign is sun resistant, low, and installed at an angle for visibility. John (a commissioner) moved to approve the design; the motion was seconded and the commission voted unanimously to proceed to print.
Staff told the commission they would likely begin with one sign and could add a second if needed. The sign will include a QR code that links to additional resources and bilingual content so visitors can learn more about the garden.
The commission thanked Morgan Reap and Claire O’Connor for their work and approved the sign design.
