At the April 14 meeting the Greeley County Board of Commissioners approved a set of administrative and planning items: legal representation for zoning matters, equipment rental, a corrective administrative plat, and a permit for an agricultural crossing.
County Attorney Joe McNally reviewed and recommended approval of an engagement letter from the law firm Cline Williams to represent the county on zoning matters; Commissioner Joe Leslie moved to accept the engagement letter, Commissioner Dennis Wadsworth seconded, and the board approved the engagement by a unanimous roll call vote.
The board approved a rental agreement submitted by NMC CAT for a Compact Track Loader (serial #KR413500) with an 86-inch bucket. The contract is a one-year, 250-hour rental billed at delivery; any hours in excess of 250 will be billed at $34.40 per hour. Commissioner Leslie moved to approve the lease and the motion carried 3-0.
Planning & Zoning Administrator Trevor Nekoliczak explained title and dedication verbiage issues on certain plats and presented a Corrective Poss‑Luscomb Administrative Plat; Commissioner Dennis Wadsworth moved to approve the corrective plat, seconded by Leslie, and the motion passed unanimously.
Dan McManaman applied for a Permit to Cross Under County Roadway to install pipe and wire for irrigation between specified sections of Township 20; the board approved the permit on a motion by Leslie, seconded by Wadsworth.
These approvals were recorded as unanimous roll call votes. The minutes do not list contract dollar amounts for the legal engagement or details of the corrective plat beyond the explanation of title and dedication verbiage issues; the NMC CAT rental terms and overage rate are noted in the minutes.
