"I'm requesting an additional $567,875 in grant funds from [the] Lilly Endowment blight elimination fund," Creevy said while describing the project's needs. Creevy said the foundation will evaluate the county's readiness materials together with this request.
Commissioners voted to approve submitting the grant request. No award decision was made at the meeting; Creevy and staff will follow the foundation's review process if the application moves forward.
