Rosenberg council approves multiple infrastructure projects, including Brazos Town Center connector

Council then considered Resolution R-4007 to award bid No. 2026-02B for the 4th Street extension. Staff recommended awarding the contract to Untado Construction Company for $1,078,990.88 with a 90-calendar-day completion term. Funding will include 50% Fort Bend County mobility funds, 30% developer contributions and the remainder from the RDC; council approved the award.
On the Public Services Complex (Resolution R-3997), staff recommended awarding bid No. 2026-06B to Flinco LLC after interviews with the three lowest bidders. The item is funded by the 2023 bond proposition and the FY2024 capital improvement plan; staff recommended approval and the council approved the resolution.
