Mayor Jesse Grof nominated Deborah Goracke; Council Member Lorie Topp moved the appointment and Alicia Brommer seconded. The council approved the nomination unanimously.
On parks business, council members approved the Midwest Floor Covering quote for $45,424 to provide a non-slip floor surface in the pool bathhouse. The motion to accept the quote was made by Alicia Brommer and seconded by Travis Goracke; the vote was unanimous. Parks staff earlier reported that sandblasting and surface preparation are underway in advance of spring painting and that a meeting on 2026 pool wages and pricing will be scheduled.
Both approvals were routine, passed without debate, and allow staff to move forward with the board appointment paperwork and the pool bathhouse procurement.
