The Weatherford Historic Preservation Commission received a refresher Tuesday on the Texas Open Meetings Act and the Public Information Act from City Secretary Andrea McDonald, who said the commission’s training certificates are on file and up to date.
McDonald told commissioners that training is required by the Texas Attorney General within 90 days of taking office and framed the session as a refresher. "The Weatherford Historic Preservation Commission is 100% in compliance with these training certificates and they are all on file in the city secretary's office," she said.
