Property committee approves purchase of Kimball office chairs

The Marquette County Property Committee voted Dec. 7 to purchase Kimball Office Chairs for county facilities and directed Buildings & Grounds to place an order for 25–30 chairs.
Buildings & Grounds Superintendent Paul Van Treeck presented several chair models and allowed committee members to test the options before the vote. The motion to purchase the Kimball Office Chair was moved by Mike Raddatz and seconded by Jon Sheller; the motion carried.
Van Treeck also distributed a project schedule for the county’s Sallyport and discussed timeline considerations with committee members. He said he will provide a fairgrounds update at the committee’s January meeting, including information on a planned design charette and the possibility of pursuing a grant.
No dollar amount or vendor contract terms were disclosed during the meeting. The committee completed the procurement vote as part of routine Buildings & Grounds business and recorded the action in the meeting minutes.
