Trustees moved, seconded and approved authorization for the Axon purchase and contract signature by roll call. The board and staff said the contract-signature authorization is intended to preserve the village’s eligibility for reimbursement; staff also explained the first-year cost would be scheduled to fit the village budget and grant timing.
