Riverton swears in Jeffrey David Mack as new patrol officer

Chief leadership asked Officer Jeff and his wife Megan to join council members at the front; Chief Hurtado (identified in council discussion) noted Jeff was hired two years ago as a community-service officer and has been promoted to patrol officer after completing required steps. The mayor administered the oath and attendees offered congratulations.
Police staff also announced there are openings for one community-service officer position due to the promotion; the department has advertised and is completing background checks for candidates.
