La Grange trustees approve consent agenda, authorizing equipment purchases and minutes

Clerk Saladino read the six consent items that included authorization to purchase a cold mix heater from Sherwin Industries Inc.; authorization to purchase a 2025 Carlton 7,500 tow-behind stump grinder from Alexander Equipment Company Inc.; approval to purchase a 2025 Vermeer brush chipper from Vermeer Midwest; a resolution to retain certain closed-session minutes and authorize destruction of some verbatim recordings; approval of minutes from Jan. 13 and Jan. 27, 2025; and a consolidated voucher.
One trustee noted a standing recusal for any items related to the village prosecutor; that recusal did not prevent the board from approving the consent agenda. The roll call produced affirmatives from trustees present and the motion carried. No further action was taken on these items at the meeting.
