Swansea board approves four ordinances in second reading and accepts public-works resolution; board sets levy hearing date

The Village of Swansea board approved four ordinances in second reading and accepted a public-works resolution approving contractor work for culvert projects during the April meeting.

After separate motions and seconds, the board recorded aye votes on Ordinances 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 (second readings), and approved Resolution 1-2718 to accept KRB Excavating’s bid of $88,333 for two culvert projects, which came in under the engineer’s estimate. Trustees then approved payment of bills totaling $1,059,123.18 by roll-call vote.
