Trustees also approved the purchase of replacement filters for the wastewater treatment plant for $45,936 and voted to renew an intergovernmental agreement with Community Unit School District 300 to allow SROs districtwide to use the police department's training simulator; the district will compensate the village to offset annual maintenance costs.
The board approved releasing a letter of credit for the Mineral Act project after staff said the developer completed the required improvements and provided a deposit to cover a three-year stormwater maintenance and monitoring period.
