Brookfield trustees approve $1.49 million corporate warrant for infrastructure projects

The Village of Brookfield board voted on Nov. 24 to approve the corporate warrant dated Nov. 24, 2025, in the amount of $1,491,795.98 to pay for several municipal projects.
Trustee Naramatsu moved the approval and outlined the warrant’s major allocations: “Just over half $1,000,000 on several different projects, parking lot improvements and Congress Park Metro Station, lehi serve lead water services, sidewalk improvements,” he said. The board conducted a roll call and recorded four ayes; two trustees were absent, and the motion passed.
The warrant covers payments across multiple departments for capital and service work identified by staff; no single contractor or vendor list was included in the motion discussion. Trustees had no further questions during the roll call vote.
The board also passed an omnibus agenda earlier in the meeting, and then considered a separate resolution to accept a Cook County Creative Placemaking subgrant (see separate report).
