"We are currently trying to finish up this yearly application process for our transit operating funds, and then also, we're putting in our bid for 1 bus too," Whitney said.
Whitney said the state increased the required local share from 5% to 10%. She said that using estimated expenses, grants and fare revenues, the city expects to cover the increased local match without additional out-of-pocket cost to the city. Council moved and approved the resolution to enter into the grant application.
