Summary

The board approved a renewal of a special class C retail alcohol license with outdoor service for the Zwingle Recreation Association at 28361 194th Avenue, Zwingle, for an effective period of May 3, 2026, through May 2, 2027.
The county auditor told the board the state had mistakenly sent the application to the city of Zwingle instead of Jackson County. "It was actually sent to the city of Zwingle instead of to Jackson County," the auditor said, and staff contacted the state to correct the routing. To avoid interruption of the association's activities, a supervisor moved and the board approved the renewal and authorized processing.
No objections were recorded during the discussion, and the motion carried.
