Greendale School Board administers oath, elects officers for the year

The Greendale School Board began its reorganization by administering the oath of office and electing officers for the coming year.
"I, Kathleen Weed Vincent, swear that I will support the constitution of The United States and the constitution of the state of Wisconsin, and will faithfully and impartially discharge the duties of the office of Greendale School board member to the best of my abilities, so help me God," said Kathleen Weed Vincent as she took the oath.
During nominations, Rob Kowalska was nominated and accepted the nomination for president; the board conducted a roll-call vote and the motion passed. The board then nominated and elected Kathy (Kathleen) Vincent as vice president, Kristen Settle as clerk and Tasha Hughes as treasurer. Each nomination was seconded and approved by roll call.
Board members offered brief remarks. Vincent, after taking the oath, called serving the community an honor and noted her prior terms of service: "For the past 9 years, I have had the privilege of working on behalf of our students, educators, families, and residents, and I'm grateful for your trust as I begin my fourth term." The new slate of officers will assume their duties immediately.
The board then proceeded to regular business.
