He said attacks on peacekeepers are unacceptable and should be promptly investigated so those responsible can be held accountable, and he extended condolences to the families and governments of Indonesia and France.
On the Golan, Fayari said the Israel Defense Forces remain on the Bravo side with 11 positions and continue operations including night searches in villages and detentions; some civilians were released after interrogation while others remain detained in Israel. He repeated that resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict remains central to durable regional peace and urged diplomatic and political steps toward a two-state outcome.
