Board members asked whether staff had monitored activity on the parcel and whether photos reflected current conditions; staff said photos were current as of last year and committed to follow up. Board members expressed support and the motion (moved by Jimmy Gomes, seconded by Jason) carried with no objections.
The assignment includes farm structures, a building assessed value ($87,700), shade houses and plant inventory; staff noted the lease does not include a partition clause allowing the department to share in the assignment consideration.
The board approved the consent and the lease amendment unanimously.
