IDA staff says microenterprise grant final drawdown delayed by recipient’s emergency

The staff member reported there was about $12,000 remaining in the grant and said she expected to submit the final drawdown later the same day to meet the program deadline.
A board member noted the awardee’s accident and said the group had collected a small donation to assist. The board did not take further action beyond acknowledging the update.
The meeting also included a note that the IDA will combine a public hearing for a CVPG grant and a future microenterprise application to streamline county processes while maintaining legislative oversight.
