The office also reported travel and training notes — Sheriff Hamp attended an FBI meeting in Jackson — and summarized March revenue and Mississippi Department of Corrections reimbursements. The representative asked the board to consider the jail meal-law item; the motion was seconded and carried.
Quote: "So during this inspection, the inspector identified following, some deficiencies, that caused us not to pass that inspection" and later "we were able to pass that," the sheriff's representative said while summarizing the inspection timeline.
