DRC approves two docks, Saint Francis cafetorium and Tioga plat recommendation

Staff also presented the Anderson Dock and Boathouse (814 sq ft at 15218 SE US Highway 301). Staff recommended approval with three conditions (photo verification that older docks were demolished, required FDEP permit/consent prior to construction, and prohibition on aquatic vegetation removal without EPD authorization); the committee approved the application by voice vote.
The committee approved a revised final development plan for Saint Francis Academy to add a 6,360‑sq‑ft cafetorium on the private school campus at 4100 NW 39th Ave / NW 115th Terrace. Walker Owen, representing the school, declined to give a formal presentation and said the team was available to answer questions; after staff found the plan consistent with the comprehensive plan and code, the DRC approved the revised final plan by voice vote.
Leslie McClendon, senior planner, presented the Town of Tioga TND Phase 1 Subphase 22 final development plan and plat (29 single‑family lots on about 17 acres). Staff recommended approval with conditions (including gopher tortoise protections per Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission guidance and recording of a conservation easement before construction permit issuance) and the DRC voted to approve the final development plan and recommend the plat to the Board of County Commissioners.
