The Planning Commission recommended approval of a site‑plan amendment to allow a 6‑by‑27‑foot cooler addition at Haggerty Mobile, 8773 Haggerty Road, and approved a materials modification (brick/limestone) subject to three conditions.
Staff said the Zoning Board of Appeals had already granted a west front‑yard setback variance for the constrained, three‑frontage site and recommended the commission approve the small addition provided the applicant submits a revised plan showing additional concrete north of the diesel pumps and removal of stone riprap south of the pumps; replace the corner sign at Haggerty and Joy roads; and address a few outstanding items from staff’s inspection report.
The commission approved the amendment with those conditions. Staff said the revised concrete plan must not interfere with required stormwater management and must be sufficient for fueling vehicles’ circulation, and that the applicant must address the inspection items before final sign‑off.
Next steps: applicant to supply the revised detail sheets and complete inspection items; once staff confirms compliance, the site amendment will be finalized.
