Somerset School Board elects officers, reassigns policy committee members
Summary

Nominations for president resulted in a unanimous vote for Matt (the board welcomed him as president), Danny Erickson accepted the nomination and was elected vice president by voice vote, Ian remained clerk, and Laurie Belarchen agreed to serve as treasurer. "Welcome, mister president," a trustee said after the president was confirmed; the new president thanked the board and asked for their support for the coming year.
Later in the meeting the board filled its three‑member policy committee by ballot; the board selected Tricia, Danny and Laurie for that committee. The board also confirmed a CISA delegate and named representatives to local scholarship and other volunteer committees. Several administrative and personnel items on the consent agenda were approved by voice vote.
