Public Works posted notice of a hearings officer's decision denying Administrative Review Case #25-015 (Remington BESS, LLC on behalf of the Neils Paul Jensen and Irma L. Jensen Joint Revocable Trust) and scheduled final consideration of Conditional Use / Comprehensive Plan Change Case #24-038 (TLM Holdings, LLC) for Feb. 4, 2026. The Sheriff's Office amendments reinstated incoming funds intergovernmental agreements with the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, adding $75,000 to bring one IGA to $325,000 and another to $280,625; the board also approved a $340,536 incoming grant agreement from the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission for the Jail-based Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (JMOUD) program through Nov. 30, 2027. The Tax Office designated the Woodburn Independent as the newspaper for the 2026 Marion County Tax Foreclosure List and approved two tax refunds (Front Street Properties, LLC for $26,022.05; Phillip K. Weaver for $40,280.21).
Commissioner Danielle Bethell moved to approve the consent agenda; Commissioner Kevin Cameron seconded. The motion carried with Commissioners Bethell, Cameron and Chair Colm Willis voting aye.
