A commissioner who addressed the room called this the “fourth meeting” tied to a Dec. 26 email about departmental accountability and said repeated absences had blocked the commission from advancing those agenda items. “This is now the fourth meeting ... the three commissioners have chose not to do the work of the people,” the commissioner said.
Despite the lack of a quorum, the commission opened the floor for public comment and allowed one speaker three minutes. No motions, votes or formal actions occurred. The commissioner closed the meeting after the public comment period and announced the session adjourned.
