Pocahontas supervisors transfer $25,904 from inactive revenue funds to general fund

The Pocahontas County Board of Supervisors on April 21 approved two interfund transfers moving funds from revenue accounts no longer in use into the General Basic fund.
Auditor Nita Hinrickson asked the board to transfer $23,564 from ARPA fund #03000 to General Basic fund #01000; Supervisor Kyle Smith moved to approve Resolution #2026-04-#19, seconded by Brent Aden. The roll-call vote recorded Ayes from Supervisors Seehusen, Siepker, Stauter, Smith and Aden and the resolution passed. Hinrickson stated the full resolution is available from the Auditor’s office.
Hinrickson also requested transfer of $2,340 from MHD’s Regional Reimburse fund #06000 to General Basic fund #01000. Supervisor Brent Aden moved approval of Resolution #2026-04-#20, seconded by Clarence Siepker; the roll call vote again recorded all ayes and the motion carried.
The meeting record does not specify the intended use of the transferred dollars after they reach the General Basic fund.
