Supervisors also reported on recent meetings: Lange on Rathbun Land & Water Alliance and conservation items, Wilson on Chariton Valley Transportation Committee funding for trails, and Moore on emergency management (EMA) activity.
The board approved departmental reports including Clerk of Court deposits ($947.33), Recorder monthly and quarterly deposits ($7,691.60 and $18,021.05), and the Sheriff’s March deposits ($36,923.37). The board reviewed and approved the itemized claim list presented by the Auditor; total claims paid for April 14 were $253,786.44.
Board members scheduled the second-tier canvass for the Mormon Trail School Director at-large special election for April 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. with no contested filings noted during the meeting.
