The board approved the motion for the preferred vendor by voice vote, 7–0.
"For me, it would be our preferred vendor just based on the long history, to follow‑up with doing repairs," Rousseau said, adding that preferred vendors often provide practical warranty follow‑up beyond initial workmanship warranties.
The board opened for public comment (none) and then voted to approve the preferred vendor’s quote and the 20‑year warranty as presented. The motion passed unanimously.
